The handcrafted natural dyeing hasn’t been rooted so strongly in Hungary, as in Thailand. Although the plant-based coloring getting even more famous as part of the eco-care and slow fashion movements. Niki Szakács textile artist is the guard and educator of this knowledge. She is creating beautiful artworks, wears-mostly scarfs- with the help and power of the plants.
On the Thai Festival we would love to present the process of natural dyeing by the Hungarian textile artist Niki Szakács, as tiny bite of a collaboration project – International Natural dyeing master course and exhibition –organised by the Kunszt- and the Thai City Foundations during 2018.
